We have an exciting opportunity to join our People Team based in Watford. This is a part time role, for up to 30 hours per week over five days with some flexibility around the start and finish times.
This role will support our Support Centre People Team and Office Services team providing a timely, accurate and effective service encompassing recruitment, employee relations, people & payroll administration, reporting, ordering and managing supplies, post and franking, and other ad-hoc duties. You will act as a point of contact for queries and ensure we always offer a high level of service to support our managers and colleagues.
First point of contact for day to day People Team queries from colleagues and managers, including face to face, phone queries and maintaining the shared mailbox, working to SLAs
Filing, maintaining records and general organisation within the team
Ensuring that colleagues are fully aware of benefits, policies, procedures and expectations
Ensuring People queries are matters are handled fairly, consistently and confidentially in line with legal and company requirements
General administration and processing paperwork
Supporting colleagues on a day to day basis with Payroll queries as well as making changes using SAP
Organising and coordinating on-boarding of new colleagues
Ordering consumables and managing kitchen supplies in our Watford office
Dealing with post and franking machine
Constantly looking for ways to improve the way we work
Building relationships and working collaboratively with teams across the business to ensure we are providing the very best support to deliver business goals
Other ad-hoc responsibilities to support the People and Office Services team as well as other departments as required
To be successful in this role your skills and qualifications will include
Experience of HR Administration (ideal)
Organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise own workload without close supervision
Efficient and able to work at pace with varied tasks
First class communication skills, both written and verbal
Practically minded: able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in!
Detail oriented, with a proactive approach to all aspects of work.
High standard of ethics, integrity and confidentiality
Team orientated
Results focused
Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on new challenges
Competent in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel.
