    This position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated engineer to join Arm's Application Engineering team within Parter Enablement Group. We provide technical support to help Arm silicon partners to design and implement Arm based SoCs. We want to expand our ISP (Image Signal Processor) team by hiring a hardware specialist, to be based alongside the ISP development team in our office in Manchester city centre. You will be closely working with team in Shanghai. Arm ISP products are targeted for markets including automotive, drones, teleconferencing and surveillance. You will gain a deep technical knowledge of Arm s ISP and related products, build strong business awareness, and help customers to successfully adopt the design solutions during the crucial stages of their SoC product developments. Responsibilities: You will: Support customers to adopt Arm ISP technologies and provide timely and accurate solutions to address hardware related issues or requests, such as IP integration, verification, function configuration, test generations, timing violation, via emails, phone calls or face to face meetings. Deliver design review to silicon partners, checking the correction of ISP integration, including ports connection, clock domains, ports timing behaviour, SRAM integration, and etc. Need to gain deep knowledge on Arm ISP architecture, algorithm blocks and related Arm IP to better support partners. Triage and diagnose sophisticated technical problems independently and collaboratively with customers and internal teams. Deliver in-depth technical training both virtually and onsite to Arm's customers. Be responsible for the generation and review of new product training material, knowledge based articles and user guides. Be responsive to the demands of internal and external customers, and provide feedback into the Arm ISP design team to ensure we make better products. Occasionally be required to travel to work with customers at their premises. Required Skills and Experience : Qualifications Good university degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Physics; Post Graduate degree preferred. Other engineering or science subject graduates would be considered 5+ years of industrial experience Experience of FPGA or ASIC design, simulation and/or verification techniques, including RTL coding and simulation, in Verilog or VHDL Excellent knowledge of AXI interfacing, experience in integrating SoC peripherals and UVM Knowledge of ISP architecture with an excellent understanding of the interaction between hardware and software Experience of customer and sales interaction ideally in a Technical Support, Product Deployment or Field Application role - as well as development work Proven experience of problem solving and debug skills Nice To Have Skills and Experience : Deep understanding of media/camera devices or good knowledge in digital photography technology Understanding of FPGA or ASIC implementation flows (synthesis, scan insertion, layout) Experience of working in a multi-time zone and distributed team environment Must be able to travel globally on demand (approximately every 3 months) More about working at Arm: In Return: All arm employees are provided with vital training to succeed in their respective roles.
