    Below is the job role: Job Title Upstream Project Researcher Location Tetbury,London (Hybrid) OR Aberdeen, UK(Hybrid) Job Description:- The Team: Upstream Solutions from Commodity Insights comprise some of the most extensive and complete information, analytics, insight, and advisory services in the world. We deliver oil and gas databases and software, energy transition insight, energy supply and demand forecasts, and comprehensive data on transactions at the global and regional market levels. The Impact: The Upstream Project Researcher functions as a key member of agile and expanding Vantage Asset Valuation team. This role will enable you to contribute to the firm s expert research and modelling of upstream projects whilst gaining experience understanding global portfolios and meeting the demanding requirements of a wide-ranging customer base in the upstream sector. Responsibilities: Work as part of a global team to contribute to the research of upstream project data, the modelling of company portfolios and updating key asset valuation models. Contribute to the research of the energy transition and the emerging technologies involved. Perform detailed research and critically assess field, company and country data from various sources. Review, digest and analyze energy company reports. Coordinate with global research teams to share findings, update models and improve global data. Handle large datasets and engage with data science to automate processes and workflows. Support both internal and external stakeholders by responding to questions of various complexity and by providing subject matter expertise. What We re Looking For: At least a bachelor s degree in a Geoscience discipline. Experience in a similar role and with an oil and gas operator, consulting, advisory or financial institution. An understanding of the upstream oil & gas sector, including resource development, cost estimation, demand/supply, and country regulations. A good understanding of the key components involved in upstream asset modelling and valuation. An understanding of upstream company strategies regarding decarbonization/abatement practices would be desirable. Self-motivated and enthusiastic and the ability to work alone or as part of a team. You possess strong communication skills and an ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
