We have an exciting 9 month Fixed term contract opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner to join a well-established Peterborough based business. If you are experienced in forecasting, can manage and analyse large amounts of data along with having great communication skills and are immediately available then please read on!

The role

• Manage an accurate base forecast based on history, seasonality, market and customer trends
• Maintain a strong relationship with both internal and external customers and ensure all forecasting changes are communicated in sufficient time
• Develop insights for forecasting changes by looking at competitor activity, events and new product development
• Use customer website links to extract information that improves understanding of customer demand and service levels

The Person

• Immediately available
• Excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships with customers
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadline
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly numerate
• Strong MS Excel skills (able to build spreadsheets)
• Experience of high-volume forecast levels in an FMCG or similar environment

Hours of work:8:45-17:00 Monday-Thursday, 08:45-16:45 Fridays, hybrid working 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 from home.
