A large well-established organisation is looking for a Technical Development Manager to lead the established development team. This is a hybrid role working approximately 2 days per week from their London office. Reporting into the Business Applications Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software developers to successfully deliver improvements to the core applications.
Duties will include managing sizeable technical project teams and man managing 5 Developers covering daily tasks, coding standards, as well as appraisals, PDPs and career growth. This will also be a technically hands-on role including writing coding, leading code reviews and advising on development approach/design patterns.
In order to be suitable for this role you must have proven experience in a Lead C# Programmer, Senior .NET Developer, Software Development Team Leader, Application Development Manager or similar senior development role.
This role would suit a candidate with some team leading/managerial exposure with in-depth knowledge of C#/.Net, SQL as well as PowerApps, Powerhouse, and Power Automate (Dynamics365).
The ideal candidate will also have some knowledge of Azure functions and SharePoint, although these are not essential. This is a business-critical role in a large reputable business that is looking to transform the way customers interact and established themselves as an ethical data-driven organisation.
This Technical Development Manager role is paying a basic salary up to £72,000 plus benefits including a generous non-contributory pension, 25 days holiday, Employee Assistance Programme, Gym, Private medical insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Life assurance cover.
