    Are you an experienced vehicle mechanic looking for a challenge? How about an exciting role supporting our Army customers? You ll get to work independently with the opportunity to oversee and undertake multiple vehicle related throughput, output, and repair projects. You ve learned a lot gaining extensive experience and knowledge through trial and error and don t mind taking the time to understand how to deliver effective equipment care and equipment support to ensure every military vehicle receives the support they need. You re excited at the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles (including MAN SV, Land Rovers, Quad Bikes, Trailers, and Minor Plant equipment s), and have the experience to inspect, diagnose, repair, maintain and modify MOD vehicles and equipment, whilst assisting in facilitating vehicle presentation to external maintenance and inspection agencies. You re sociable and work well with others, helping others and seeking help when you need it and realistic with the things you can achieve within a set timeline. You must have a Vehicle Engineering Qualification City & Guilds Level 3 and/or BTEC / IMI / NVQ equivalent and desirably Vehicle Engineering Experience within a Commercial and/or Military Workshop. You ll also need a full clean driving licence: Cat B+E at the minimum, Cat C desirable, and an IOSH Working Safely qualification would also be desirable Salary: £29,300 per annum Location: Warminster Please note: Our garrisons are tobacco free working environments.
