Senior Fitness Coach - Permanent - Canning Town, E14 Hours: 40 per week, on a rota basis working 5 days per week between the hours of 05.45am - 23.15pm, Monday to Sunday (8 hours per day, 5 days per week) Salary: £27,500 per annum + commission Duties & Responsibilities To work alongside the Health Club Manager (HCM) in the day to day running of the Health Club, including line managing the Fitness Coaches and being first point of contact for Leisure within your facility. To support the HCM to deliver exceptional customer service and help to promote a service orientated culture amongst the staff and contracted service providers linked to continuous improvement. To greet and interact with residents/guests, carry out duties, as specified, ensure the environment and the equipment is clean and tidy at all times and to make the residents/guests experience a fantastic one on every visit. Contribute to resident retention by utilising the highest quality of customer service. To be the driving force and key contributor to development by promotion of the Leisure services and support the HCM with tracking progress through statistical reports and analysis. To ensure the development is maintained to the standard commensurate with Ballymore s portfolio status and value. In absence of the HCM to oversee the running of the Health Club. Provide leadership to the Fitness Team and inspire residents/guests as a Fitness role model. To lead and populate the group exercises programme delivered to residents utilising team skills and enhancing the day to day experience residents have within our exercise programme. To teach classes when required To train clients when required Make sure all health club content including posters, timetables & Technogym content are maintained with up to date information and are aesthetically pleasing with LCI/GLH branding. Lead by example, check staff uniform is correct, pin badges and PPE (when appropriate) are worn and standards of appearance are maintained at all times. Address any issues or concerns regarding appearance with the individuals concerned Ensure that daily checks on equipment are undertaken & any issues reported instantly. Liaise with the Facilities team to report any service losses within the wet areas or pools & ensure timely repair is undertaken. Responsible for compiling statistical reports for daily usage, income and class participation and feedback to HCM for reporting. Skills, experience & qualifications Proven ability to build strong working relationships with clients. Passionate, lively, approachable. Good team player. Ability to offer constructive advice to others. Good working knowledge of health & safety. Face to face customer services experience. Delivering fitness training classes. Preparing personal work schedules. Experience of running multifaceted Health Clubs.
