    My Client is a major defence contractor that specialises in industrial corporation with manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics.     As a prime contractor and major supplier to the UK Ministry of Defence, my client continues to invest in research and development, supporting innovation and technological advances across its core mission areas Weapons & Sensors, and Cyber, Space & Training.

    My Client is looking for:

    A Marine Engineer Submariner:

    Proven at sea experience as a CAT A2 Nuclear watch keeper.

    PWR 2 experience desirable.

    Fwd ME experience desirable.

    Proven experience in a Training Requirements, Design or a Delivery Role desirable.

    DE&S/SDA experience desirable.

    The Job: To assist Course Designers with creating curriculum for trainees within marine engineering.

    The Technical Training Team SME's will work with the Courseware and Media Teams to identify technical data requirements for the development of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) courseware and media. Having identified the data requirements, the Technical Training Team SME will work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution.

    Main Duties to include:

    • Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation & processes for our Customer's training sites and organisations.
    • Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
    • Work with the customer and the customer's agents and suppliers to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and also routes to obtain the data.
    • Work with the courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution.
    • Conduct the upkeep, update and revalidation of course technical data.
    • Identify where training methods and media currently in use in the Customer may be exploited to better develop and deliver the Programme's courseware.
