We are working with our client based in Studley who are a family ran company specialising in heavy haulage and logistics solutions. We are assisting the client in the search for a Project Manager on a full time, permanent basis.

You will be responsible for the delivering multimodal transport, logistics and installations projects from contract award to completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment and resources are booked and allocated in a timely manner to avoid clashes, delays or late changes
• Accountability of the full project life-cycle, from commercial handover to project close out
• Putting HSE at the forefront of the teams day to day proceedings
• Appropriate delegations of responsibilities to team members
• Client interaction, both commercially and operationally
• Oversee the execution of planned projects and engineering through a clear and defined programme
• Liaise with proposals engineer to ensure all routing surveys and permitting requirements are completed on time
• Controlling project budgets to deliver profitability

Person Specification

• Knowledge of Heavy Life and Transport industries is preferred, but not essential
• Onsite experience both working and supervising/managing
• Full driving license, Cat B
• Commercial understanding of different forms of contracts and risk
• Flexible - nights away will be required for varying durations
