M&E Services Coordinator - Fixed Term Contract - 15 months - £35,340 p/a plus benefits Our client is a globally respected, not-for-profit, organisation. They are offering an amazing opportunity to join their in-house facilities management team as an M&E Services Co-ordinator. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The M&E Services Coordinator (mechanical and electrical) will support the delivery of Hard Services to the Head Office building in Kings Cross/ Euston. This role will support the M&E Services Manager and partner with our M&E contractor as required. The priority for this role is enabling the operation and maintenance of the M&E services ensuring that all related systems and services are safe and meet quality and regulatory requirements. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: - Understand the M&E services systems and the role of the principal M&E service partner. - Carry out a programme of planned "spot checks" to ensure all plant and plant rooms/areas are being maintained to the correct and relevant standards. - Proactively prevent unsafe situations, including maintaining a safe and tidy place of work in relation to M&E. - Ensure that all relevant contractors' information is up to date and stored on the site permitting system (e.g. Verature) and manage the issuance of Contractors Access Forms (CAF). - Assist the M&E Services Manager with approval/vetting of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS). - Assist the M&E Services Manager with assuring all relevant M&E regulatory and compliance requirements are managed on time, to quality and budget. - Ensure that the M&E service partner compliance register is up to date and completion is evidenced with robust records. - Deputise for the M&E Services Manager on activities that are reasonable in relation to the skills and experiences of the M&E Services Coordinator role.
