Software engineer in test - 6 month initial contract - Hybrid - up to £550 inside ir35

Key Skills: Automated testing, coaching testers, some knowledge of manual testing, web testing frameworks, automated API testing, distributed version control knowledge, agile, pyramid testing

An exciting opportunity to work with a big-name client within the financial sector. The client is looking for a software engineer in test who is a highly motivated and eager individual with strong communication skills, to join their team.

Location: London or Leeds with hybrid working, must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to come into the office if required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train/coach other testers
• Maximise automated test strategy whilst maintain quality

Key Experience:

• Strong automated testing experience
• Some knowledge of manual testing
• Knowledge of web testing frameworks such as cypress
• Knowledge of automated API testing
• Familiar with distributed version control systems ie: Git
• Agile environment experience
• Pyramid testing knowledge (a framework that allows developers and QAs to build high-quality software)
