Copello are proudly working with an engineering services company in the marine sector, helping them to recruit a SHEQ Trainer to join their Portsmouth site. The SHEQ Trainer will be responsible for planning an delivering internal and IOSH approved courses to work colleagues and customers with the following duties: Compile training statistics Conduct presentations to groups of employees/managers Attend health & safety meetings Liaise with customers, HSE and other SHE departments Keep up to date and ensure compliance with current H&S legislation Deliver induction training for new starters Deliver SHE training for colleagues and customers Be aware of new and existing safety legislation Promote guidance, advice, understanding and compliance with HASAW Act 1974 and all relevant Regulations Amend training courses in light of any SHEQ updates where relevant The successful SHEQ Trainer must hold a NEBOSH General Certification in OH&S or equivalent and have completed their Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or equivalent. The Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Trainer will ideally have their NEBOSH Environmental Management certification and be happy and able to attain IOSH approval.
