Group Financial Accountant

Location: Remote or in Marlow

Duration: 3 months

Pay rate: £45.80 per hour PAYE

Hours: Full time (36 hours per week) or part time (21-28 per week)

Description:

Looking for a Group Financial Accountant to join us on a temporary basis to start ASAP.

The Group Financial Accountant is accountable for:

Providing support to the Group Finance team during the year end.

• Assisting with group accounting, statutory accounts and the year-end audit

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of statutory and non-statutory Financial Statements within the required timeframe

• Providing to, and liaising with the auditors about, the consolidated Group accounts for audit purposes

• Assisting preparation of accounting information required by US Tax Advisors

• Preparation of draft Technical Accounting memos for the Group

• Coordination of accounting information to be supplied to external advisors

• Support Group Accountant and Director of Group Accounting on non-recurring reporting, analysis or project deliver

Qualifications and experience:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Strong technical accountancy - Both IFRS and FRS

• IBM Business Planning and Analytics experience would be a benefit (TM1)

• Organised, self-motivated, deadline driven
