    Join us as a Senior Domain Architect and be the driving force behind our IT strategy. Your expertise in Data domain knowledge will steer our technological journey, shaping the very tools and techniques that will define our cutting-edge environment.

    Pay between 52,412 - 70,000, plus 27.9% employer pension contributions worth over 17,000, hybrid working, and great work life balance. Includes flexi-time with up 3 extra days off a month.

    Location

    Your choice of Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, or Sheffield. We work a hybrid model: some time in an office, some time at home.

    You'll collaboratively design modern IT architectures for of the most digital transformations in Europe. You'll help us build better services for millions of users.

    Designing World-Class Products

    DWP maintain and modernise services that will be used by nearly every person in the UK, at key moments in their lives.

    Support Solution Architects within Delivery project teams on data design elements of solutions.

    You'll understand industry trends, and research, in the data domain.

    You govern solution designs, approving architecture decisions and technology choices.

    Your Essential Skills:

    • Governing architecture design of business-critical IT projects/services in a large, complex UK central government or private sector organisation.
    • Data strategies, blueprints, reference architectures and design patterns.
    • Conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling and design.
    • Database design / modelling, technologies, design patterns, tools, and best practice (including RDBMS, NoSQL and Open Source).
    • Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, and best practice.

    In return for your skills, we pay 52,412 - 70,000 per annum.

    You'll also get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions to 27.9% - that could be worth over 17,000 in your pension pot each year.
