We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead and drive our sales team in London.
Head of Sales The Role:
As the Head of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading our sales efforts in the London region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader and make a significant impact within the education technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in selling software solutions to local authorities and educational institutions.
Head of Sales Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Develop and implement a sales strategy tailored to the education sector, focusing on local authorities, schools, and colleges
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the target market
- Identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales plans
- Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative and solutions-oriented approach
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to the senior management team
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies
Head of Sales You:
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership, ideally in the education technology sector
- Experience selling software solutions to local authorities and educational institutions
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing sales professionals
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven
- Knowledge of Management Information Systems (MIS) and education technology is a plus
- Located in or willing to relocate to London
