    Teaching assistant - Clapham Primary schools Based in Clapham Full-Time £85-£90 a day Depending on experience Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistants to work within a Primary School in Clapham, supporting pupils with mild SEND needs and within the classroom. We are looking for dynamic and adaptable Teaching assistants, that will be able to support pupils daily in the classroom. Some of the pupils you will be supporting will have various SEND needs, experience of supporting different needs would be desirable but not essential. You will play a key role in supporting the pupils with communication, learning, and independence, in a safe and inclusive environment to help their development. We are looking for individuals that have had classroom experience, has worked with children or SEND experience. Job Responsibilities Supporting pupils within KS1 or KS2 Supervising pupil's behaviour Encourage and support the pupils learning and development Support social interaction Helping the teacher prepare for lessons and plan activities Benefits to you Excellent Daily Pay £85-£95 The opportunity for a permanent contract with the school Based in Clapham Full-Time position Job Requirements Experience of support children with ASC Experience supporting children with learning difficulties or disabilities. Strong communication skills Valid child and adult enhanced DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one. Available 5 days a week Able to commit to 6-12 months.
