Are you an experience Accountant Assistant looking for a new challenge in Handforth? Fintelligent is helping an umbrella company that handles accountancy, tax and payroll for independent contractors, freelancers and small to medium-sized businesses find a full-time Client Accountant. The accountant will play a pivotal role in the business, communicating with clients, maintaining client records, and preparing quarterly VAT returns. You'll be joining a collaborative and inclusive company that provides a variety of flexible and tailored services using the most up-to-date technology and systems.

During your first few weeks in this accountant role, you can expect to:

• Guide customers through the selling process to company set-up
• Prepare statutory year-end accounts without error within 3 months of the company year ends
• Timely preparation, delivery and on-time submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Prepare PAYE/NI returns, issuing to directors and ensure on-time submission

You will need excellent communication, planning and organisational skills to apply for this Graduate Accountant position, effectively prioritising workloads. We are also looking for:

• Either AAT Qualified, ACCA part qualified or an Accounting and Finance graduate
• Minimum B in Mathematics GCSE
• Knowledge of SAGE or similar systems
• Excellent customer service skills
