    Contract and Performance Manager

    Brief

    Contract and Performance Manager or Contract Manager needed for a leading utilities company based in Blackburn who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Contract and Performance Manager that takes pride in their work,

    The post holder's primary role is to ensure that day to day performance and contract deliverables are monitored via the systems and in line with the contract requirements and that reports are produced for both internal and external requirements, as well as deal with day-to-day service-related queries.

    What the role entails:

    Some of the main duties of the Contract and Performance Manager will include:

    • Form part of the on-site senior management team, delivering to agreed service levels within agreed budgets.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to the team to increase performance thorough consistency and innovation.
    • Responsible for day-to-day monitoring of performance and operational reporting to understand and analyse contract performance, for planned and reactive tasks.
    • Support the Account Director by producing monthly deduction and service reports, daily/weekly updates, and other reports as required. Monitor performance of the contract daily to identify trends and minimise failures by providing advice, feedback, and updates to the team in the promotion of best practice in relation to payment mechanism deductions.
    • Provide and deliver monthly performance reports with the assistance of the administration team Identify issues and pro-actively offer solutions to improve performance, to include implementation of action/improvement plans where required.

    What experience you need to be the successful Contract and Performance Manager:

    • Experience of managing within a PFI environment and of liaising directly with the client
    • ONC/HNC or equivalent in Facilities Management
    • IOSH Managing safely
    • Legal or commercial qualifications and experience of PFI contract operations
    • Commercial awareness of key contractual documents
    • Experience of service delivery, managing performance and contractual deliverables, including contractual KPIs
