We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our client, a leading supplier of ambient, fresh, frozen and raw ingredient products, as an Entry Level/Junior HSE and Compliance Coordinator. As a key member of the team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the depot and contributing to the company's commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities: Compliance Management:Implement and uphold Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety Policies.Conduct internal audits to maintain standards of Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, and Quality.Serve as the point of contact for compliance visits to the site. Continuous Improvement:Foster a philosophy of continuous improvement within all departments.Collaborate with various departments to develop and deliver a learning framework supporting the Quality Management System (QMS). Accreditation Maintenance:Maintain site QMS standards for BRCGS accreditation, with support from the Group HSE & Compliance Manager. Health and Safety Leadership:Act as the lead competent person for health and safety.Ensure a safe workplace environment across all sites without risk to health.Additional Responsibilities: Assist with the implementation of new Quality Standards. Support Third Party Audits and site Quality-related meetings. Complete customer-issued Quality Questionnaires. Ensure compliance with relevant environmental legislation. Manage Pest Control and hygiene on-site for Quality purposes. Oversee instrument calibration (temperature measuring equipment). Monitor customer service complaints. Coordinate and support QHSE meetings, ensuring actions are effectively closed out. Prepare QHSE documentation and statistical reports. Conduct safety inspections, audits, and checks. Hold monthly depot meetings to report on relevant quality and health & safety matters. Liaise with suppliers, including insurers and solicitors. Ensure company QHSE systems and procedures are adhered to by all stakeholders.
