Location: home based with some travel to sites (hybrid) ideally Midlands or Yorkshire based
Salary: £25-37,000 + benefits (we can also consider part-time and full-time candidates)
Our rapidly expanding Client is seeking a true partner and trusted advisor to the business to deliver and report on all business-as-usual recruitment activity. Scouting, selecting, sifting and securing top diverse candidates through a full lifecycle recruiting process focusing on proactively building, developing and maintaining a pipeline of candidates using a variety of sourcing, selection and assessment channels ensuring we can fully support the businesses people plans.
The role:Being a resourcing subject matter expert, keeping updated on the industry, trends, competitors, external benchmarking; sharing this with your stakeholders and wider resourcing/HR team.
Be an ambassador for the recruitment brand and Employee Value Proposition, driving consistency and brand enhancement internally and externally.
Setting out ways of working to define processes, timescales, expectations and influence stakeholders to develop the most effective sourcing, selection and assessment plans.
Delivery of a diverse shortlist of screened candidates in line with hiring manager criteria, influencing decision making where required.
Full briefing of all candidates on the role and process ahead of any interview or assessment and providing verbal feedback to all interviewed candidates enhancing experience and pipelines for the future.
Building strong pipelines of candidates through a network of professional contacts, online resources, in-house networks, ATS and other creative/proactive sources.
Ensuring unrivalled candidate and hiring manager experience using feedback to drive improvements
Consider career pathways, succession and internal mobility across the group and facilitate moves to support business growth and employee development
Partner with Managers, Senior Leaders and HRBP's on future hiring requirements and identify problems areas - high attrition, skills shortages and new technologies and suggest creative ways to address the gaps.
Providing scheduled ad hoc data to Stakeholders and other relevant parties to provide analysis and insight of trends
Maintaining an acute awareness of external marketplace and positioning of business; building ideas around developing reputation and credibility to enable best practice sharing across HR and the business.
The person:Degree educated or equivalent
A strong resourcing background gained from either in house or RPO environment.
Previously managed a varied work slate of high volume engineering vacancies to head office support staff
Strong stakeholder management and influencing experience.
Able to partner the business as all levels and build trusted and relationships.
Strong candidate management through full recruitment lifecycle.
Proven success using multiple sourcing channels to engage both active and passive candidates.
Experience of talent pooling and management.
Data focus and able to influence using data to enable better decision making.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and desire to follow process.
Effective networker both internally and externally.
Good understanding of selection, assessment and psychometric tools.
Experience working with human resources/recruitment systems.
