    Support Coordinator Exeter Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hpw), Part Time or Flexi-bank Salary of £22,500 pa (pro rata), depending on experience and qualifications, plus great benefits including Health Cash Plan! Empowering customers to live rewarding and happy lives. That s when it hits home. We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team as a Support Coordinator. We support our brilliant customers who are receiving support to resettle in the community. The role is based in a 19-bed hostel for ex-offenders in Exeter city centre. You ll also help our customers with their housing benefit claims and making sure that these are received on their rent account. You ll turn around vacant bed spaces so that new customers who need our help can move in quickly to a welcoming and safe space. You ll make sure our service achieves maximum occupancy, and that we are health and safety compliant! About you You re passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. You ll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. You have some experience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively, however, full training is given! You re great at managing your own time, stick to deadlines and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You are skilled using Microsoft Office, including Excel and have the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets. To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's important that you are competent in Cloud based platforms. It s vitally important that you re a team player and will work in partnership with the wider support team, as well as National Probation Service and the police. You do need to know that we are a high-tech company and most of our application process and mandatory learning are online. However, we re glad to support you if you need help. To make sure our customers are well supported, it s important that you ve had a job in a supported housing environment before and have professional experience of the Criminal Justice System. When you join as a Support Coordinator, you ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don t have a transferrable one. Working hours You ll work on a rota basis between the hours 7am - 2pm, or 2pm -10pm, and take your turn working those hours on some weekends and bank holidays too. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
