    Business Developer, Energy Project Brokerage, UK & International, base salary 50,000 - 60,000 + Commission (total OTE at 100,000+). UK based Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for a business development professional to facilitate the multi-million-pound sale of renewable energy projects to high paying international investors. The client has developed a bespoke digital platform that allows project sellers to connect easily to pre- qualified buyers, many of whom are prepared to pay premium rates for high quality UK assets. You will engage UK project developers and asset owners who wish to sell their projects and invite them to list their assets for sale on the platform, typically greenfield, RTB or operational assets. About You We re looking for a high calibre business developer who understands the renewable energy market, and specifically the commercial motivations for sellers and buyers of assets. It s possible you have sold renewable energy products / services into the target market, or perhaps been involved in brokerage or M&A activity. You re an ambitious, highly motivated business professional ideally with a network of UK and international renewable project developers and or asset owners. Key Tasks This is a key new role working closely with the company's founder and director who will support in all project acquisition and business development opportunities. You ll take charge of a broad range of business development opportunities, including: Build and maintain a list of asset owners and investors across EMEA Develop sales strategies and contribute to the business development plan Manage relationships and be responsible for key account management Oversee the onboarding of new projects onto the platform Provide commercial solutions to parties to facilitate M&A processes Use your commercial acumen to review project valuation metrics Manage the progress of projects being transacted on the platform B2B commercial contract management Actively manage and update internal CRM system Essential Skills & Experience Be articulate with a clear communication style Strong commercial acumen Be target orientated At least 3 years of relevant experience as a business development manager Be self-motivated, driven, and able to succeed in a target-orientated environment; Be able to work on their initiative and as part of a team Competent in the use of CRM databases, Microsoft Suites (Outlook, Word, Excel etc) and social media platforms such as LinkedIn; Ability to contribute to new business development by highlighting potential opportunities for new engagements from your own network and experience in business development. Ability to manage relationships between internal and external across organisations; Ability to deal with conflict resolution in a commercial and professional manner; Excellent social skills with the ability to initiate, inspire, drive and boost revenue growth and profitability within our position in the market Have experience presenting to senior level contacts The role is UK based in the Milton Keynes office but might enjoy an international dimension, so experience in overseas markets could prove very helpful Remuneration Competitive base salary and commission structure, based on value and experience circa 50,000 - 60,000 base salary. The successful candidate will receive 5% (average 7,500) of the brokerage fee on their sales providing a very attractive OTE. A reasonable target would be to complete around 10 deals per annum.
