We are looking for a Energy Reporting Analyst to join our successful Ignite team The role can be home based, but the successful candidate would ideally be located within 2 hours of the Wantage office and would be willing to work there 1-2 days per week if required. Role The energy reporting analyst is responsible for supporting the account management team, energy projects team and bill validation & finance team to develop and deliver key reports to clients on their consumption, cost and carbon emissions. Key Responsibilities include: Assisting with the design and developments of reports to clients for energy and cost analysis Responsible for the production, delivery and quality control for a specified set of weekly and monthly reports often to tight timescales and specific deadlines Analysing the impact of energy reduction projects using both metered and invoiced consumption and cost data and taking into account other relevant data feeds Providing support to internal teams for ad hoc reporting requests for current and prospective clients Supporting the building of consumption budget data for wider use across the business Internal reporting to key stakeholders around opportunities for improvement in current reporting processes. Assisting with the maintenance of data being reported on our client facing Web based system and configuring the clients access to the systems. Skills Required Background in analysis and working with data. Have excellent communication skills for dealing with customers, contractors and other team members. Knowledge of the energy market and relevant data feeds a significant advantage. Be self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Attention to detail. Computer literate. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level) Experience of using Microsoft PowerBI and an understanding of database structure best practice a significant advantage. Have a strong mathematical and analytical skillset for reporting. (Exposure to statistical methods and familiarity with linear regression and accrual methodologies an advantage).
