This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in finance and become a valued member of the Finance Team. You will be enrolled on a L2 or L3 AAT course (dependent on grades/experience) to start your journey in finance. You must be dedicated and willing to learn. The role involves: Supporting the Finance Department Working with accounting software and Excel spreadsheets Assisting with the day-to-day data entry requirements of the Company Raising sales invoices and applications for payment Raising and amending purchase order records Monitoring and updating the approved supplier database Providing administrative support to the finance department, including filing, printing, copying, archiving as required Answering the telephone and emails, and liaising with suppliers and customers as required Communicating verbally and by digital means with customers and colleagues May be required to attend external place of study (AAT qualification) Key Experience/qualifications Good IT skills and a familiarity with Microsoft packages. Good customer service skills. You will be a team player with ambition. Be able to communicate and build successful working relationships with customers and other employees. Good verbal and written communication skills. GCSE English and Maths Grade (A C) or 4 and above You should also have the ability to: Work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Have good attention to details and organisation skills. Have the desire to learn and continually improve your knowledge.
