    Job Title National Contracts Manager The Position As the National Contracts Manager, reporting directly to senior management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the commercial contracts process. Working closely with internal departments, including legal, sales, and project management, you will ensure that contracts conform to industry standards, comply with legal requirements, and protect the best interests of the organisation. This National Contracts Manager role will also lead the design and implementation of innovative strategies and processes within the contracts business function. Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including service agreements, maintenance contracts, and subcontractor agreements etc. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements, understand client expectations, and ensure that contracts align with business objectives. Conduct thorough contract analysis to identify potential risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies. Ensure that all contracts adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. Maintain accurate and organised contract documentation, including contract templates and a centralised repository for easy access and retrieval. Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and provide guidance to internal teams on contractual matters. Monitor contract performance, track key milestones, and proactively address any deviations or issues that may arise. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to contract management in the HVAC industry. Your Experience The ideal candidate for this National Contracts Manager position should have: Proven experience as a Commercial Contracts Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in contract writing, reviewing, and negotiation within both the built environment and commercial domains. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex contract terms and negotiate with clients, subcontractors etc. Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities, with the capacity to identify and mitigate potential risks in contracts. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced commercial environment. Proficiency in using contract management software and tools is preferred.
