Spanish Classroom Assistant Immediate Start Lambeth South London

Fantastic opportunity for a Spanish speaking Teaching Assistant to join a well-established community languages department in a 11-18 Secondary School in Lambeth, South London. This role is to start as soon as possible for a long term role for the whole academic year.

This job would suit a Spanish national looking to gain experience in the British Education System and could also be an exciting role for a Languages Graduate now looking for a long term education opportunity with a view to advancing into a career in teaching.

As a Spanish Teaching Assistant you will be line managed by the Head of Community Languages at the school. The school has a high proportion of Spanish nationals attending the school, your role will involve in class support with 11-16 year olds who have English as a second language (EAL).

This is an excellent opportunity for a Spanish speaker to join a thriving secondary school with a good track record of supporting teachers to develop.

Applicants should be confident in speaking and writing Spanish and will be required at times do some small group interventions as well as 1:1 support in and outside the classroom.
