Konker is recruiting for a Principal Designer to join an impressive architectural practice in their Newport Pagnell office. You will be joining a well-immersed company that has 5 offices around the UK and employs around 160 members of staff. This AJ-100 listed Architectural practice has built a strong reputation within the commercial field and undertakes commissions throughout the UK on all building types. They are a multiple award-winning practice that has developed a strong portfolio that includes retail, residential, leisure, offices, and industrial projects. This RIBA Chartered practice is represented by a director-led dedication design team comprising of Architects, Technicians, Landscape Architects and support staff. With a reputation for deliverability, design flair and logical technical expertise, this AJ100 practise provides services that understand clients goals, and deliver real value. They are seeking a Principal Designer to join them in carrying out a wide range of roles. Some of these include carrying out standard Principal Designer duties for construction and refurbishment projects varying in size across the UK, assisting Designers and Clients with their duties under CDM Regulations, and obtaining, collating, and distributing clear visual Pre-Construction H&S Information. Furthermore, candidates should possess excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills as well as knowledge of CDM regulations, Building Regulations and design guidance. Candidates with excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills are more likely to succeed. The salary for this position ranges from £35,000-£50,000 DOE, as well as numerous additional benefits.
