KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT LAWYER / PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT LAWYER
COMMERCIAL LITIGATION / DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This is a great opportunity for an existing Knowledge Development Lawyer / Professional Support Lawyer or a solicitor (6/7PQE+) looking for a change in direction in career and particularly one with a better 'work & home' life balance at this well respected litigation practice.
The Role
The role will cover the 'usual' aspects of the KDL / PSL role and will likely include all / most of the following:-
Monitoring developments of law & practice;
Providing guidance on complex technical client problems;
Assisting business development initiatives;
Contributing to know-how;
Disseminating information/knowledge to the practice;
Dealing with fee earner enquiries;
Providing training on developments in the law & practice;
Part-time role (4 days) & if need be flexible hours available for the right individual.
You
You will be at least 6/7PQE;
Experience of working in private practice is essential;
You will be considered if currently working in-house or in an academic position, but part of your career will have been in a law firm;
Major City law firm experience or experience in a large commercial firm is highly desirable;
Experience of previous work as a KDL / PSL is not essential.
You will be expected to focus primarily on all mainstream areas of commercial litigation and arbitration, recent cases and developments and matters of general interest to commercial clients.
