Trainee Engineering / Foundry Technician - Casting and Brazing and Assembly build Technician £20-25K plus BUPA and SALARY Bonus 10% PDQ are looking to recruit a Foundry Technician for a Manufacturing company in Leatherhead area. The company provides a range of scientific instruments for research purposes. Duties include - plating, casting, sandblasting and polishing. This is the ideal position for a person who is good with their hands, has a good eye for detail who perhaps wants to learn a new trade, full training will be provided. If you have worked with precious metals, silver smith, goldsmith or any precision mechanical assembly experience on a small product then this would be the perfect opportunity to experience a new industry. Experience in a workshop environment is preferable. You are required to have a good level of dexterity as you will be utilising hand tools and performing mechanical assembly. A keen attention to detail is essential as you will be reading drawings and instructions and identifying defects. A manufacturing, production or processing background would be ideal.
