We're looking for a skilled and experienced UI Director with ample experience developing games and overseeing teams of 10+ to mentor, develop and line-manage UI experts as they work across exciting projects.

With collaboration, a huge value that underpins the business, leadership skills are paramount to this position. You'll work and shape the UX culture and future potential of a wide variety of people across the business, from Art Directors, Art Leadership and UI/UX Directors.

Location Workplace policy: Hybrid working with one day a week in Oxford tech hub

UI Director - Responsibilities:

• Develop a recruitment strategy for the UI arm of the business that includes role definition, hiring, onboarding and succession planning
• Ensure the UI division is performing correctly with every team member under your remit attended to and supported
• Work alongside UI Artists and Art Directors and help them achieve visual excellence
• Learn to use a visual scripting toolset

UI Director - Requirements:

• Relevant commercial experience developing games
• Prior experience managing teams of over 10
• Comfortable overseeing UI branding for a game alongside UI artists, the project Art Director and the Marketing/Publishing team
• Experience in one of the following fields:
• Either UI Art (branding, editorial design, illustration and typography or UX Design (interaction design, prototyping, accessibility and user research)
• Professional portfolio that demonstrates your work
