Thermal Assembler An exciting opportunity has arisen for Thermal Assembler for a global manufacturing company in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The Package for Thermal Assembler: Working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30 - 16:00 - 30min lunch break On Friday 07:30 to 13:00 - No lunch 37.5 hours/ week Salary: £23,000 - £25,000/yr DOE Full time, Permanent position Key Tasks for Thermal Assembler: All employees are expected to use ITW toolbox techniques such as 80/20, PLS, In-lining, USa and where applicable MRD. Assembly as directed by the Production Manager Thermal Products- using the latest relevant assembly processes and drawings. Correct assembly first time minimal reworks and to highest quality standards. Fault diagnosis of units . Inventory management of local line side parts. Skills required for Thermal Assembler: A detailed knowledge of hand tools, tool selection. Fault diagnosis to component and subassembly level. A strong ability to read and understand Engineering, Assembly and Manufacturing drawings. Computer literate with the ability to enter data into MS Excel and MS Word as well as use of email. An Electro-mechanical / Electronic Wiring background. Experience with electro - mechanical and / or electronic assemblies (computers, electrical / electronic consumer goods. Person Specification for Thermal Assembler: The candidate should be able to prove experience with assembly and disassembly of electro-mechanical componentry and / or fine wiring / soldering skills. The candidate should be able to prove experience with the use of basic test equipment from the above industries including fault diagnosis to module level and initiatives for product improvement. Education & Qualifications for Thermal Assembler: GCSE or equivalent level Mathematics. GCSE or equivalent Science base subject, preferably Physics. GCSE or equivalent Craft based subject, Woodwork, Metalwork, Design, Technology.
