Morgan King are working with a family-owned manufacturer with nearly 200 years history, a leader in their field in the UK. Due to sustained growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team based north of Leeds. Successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience as Mechanical Maintenance Engineer gained in manufacturing industry. We are also happy to speak with Electrical or Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers (salary to be discussed). Pay and working hours Day shift (Monday to Thursday: 8am - 5pm, Friday: 8am - 4pm) Salary of £35,000 - £38,000 per annum (DOE) Work for a very prestigious company with nearly 200 years tradition Key responsibilities of Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer: Attending breakdowns and resolve in an safe and timely manner. Assist in development, and carry out PPM activities. Report breakdown causes and help with root cause analysis. Machine spare parts as required. Maintain breakdown log and stock control system up to date. Assist with commissioning of new, and moving of existing equipment as required. Prioritise own workloads and work in a safe manner at all times. Ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer candidate: Mechanical engineer with experience in manufacturing environment Excellent knowledge of engineering design, specifications and standards Good working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and steam systems Flexible in working hours Good knowledge of machining techniques (milling, turning, welding) Apprentice trained, ideally with NVQ / C&G qualifications.
