    Morgan McKinley has an urgent temporary - Part Time, Accounts Assistant job opportunity based in the Crawley, West Sussex. The Accounts Assistant will provide daily Accounts and Admin support to the business.

    Hours: 9am - 2.30pm Monday to Friday

    Duration: Temp ongoing - start ASAP

    Location: Crawley, West Sussex

    Accounts Assistant duties will include:

    • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals
    • Accounts Receivable - Controlling credit and chasing debt
    • Customer invoicing and issuing credits
    • Accounts Payable, purchase ordering, supplier payments, remittances, matching POs
    • Reconciliations of client accounts, credit card statements, bank statements, direct debits.
    • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
    • Review & investigate supplier statements.
    • Processing invoices, making sure all of the pricing, VAT & general ledger coding are correctly entered.
    • Daily, weekly and monthly reports.
    • Assisting with the general ledger.
    • Dealing with internal and external enquiries.
    • Updating customer records.
    • Day to day office administrative activities such as sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries.

    Skills and experience required:

    • Proven Accounts Assistant / Accounts Admin experience using Sage 50 / Sage
    • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
    • Good IT skills including Excel
