    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced generalist HR Advisor to join our fast-paced warehouse distribution client based at their Head Office in Blackburn. Supporting 3 sites, your key duties as a generalist HR Advisor will include: Support and advise Line Managers on employee relations issues, employment law, people & performance management, best practice, internal policies and procedures; Provide support and coaching to Line Managers on managing ER related issues; Support with recruitment, adverts, organising interviews, sitting in, onboarding; Sit in on disciplinary and grievance meetings undertaking note taking; Lead and provide data provision for redundancies, consultations etc; Collate data for monthly payroll, check and submit to outsourced agency; Update and maintain Cascade HR database; Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to Head of HR, analysing trends in data; Experience, skills & attributes required from the HR Advisor will include: Minimum of 2 years experience in a generalist HR Advisor role; Experienced in working with Line Managers to provide advice, guidance, support and coaching on employee relations; Experienced in grievances, disciplinaries, absence and performance management; Preferred CIPD qualification (not essential); Experienced in using HR databases (client database is Cascade); Self-sufficient with the ability to manage own workload and priorities; Open and encouraging working style with the experience of creating an approachable and supportive HR function; Flexibility to travel to other sites in and across Blackburn during your week; Own car & driving licence. Working Pattern/Hours: Full time permanent position working 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday ideally 9-5pm but flexibility to work between 8 and 5.30pm; 30 mins lunch; 1 day required to work to 5pm. After 3 months can apply for hybrid working - up to 2 days working from home.
