Norfolk - Junior Buyer - Manufacturing

My client are leaders in the manufacturing industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands and are looking for a Junior Buyer to come and join their team.

Main Duties:

• Placing and expediting orders with suppliers;
• Building and managing relationships with suppliers;
• Liaising heavily with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the availability and timeliness of materials for production across the site;
• Being an active participant in the Supply Chain team to continually drive process and procedural improvements in the daily work

Key Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience within a Junior Buyer/Administrator/Purchasing Assistant type role
• Admin experience with a desire to learn buying experience
• Experience within a manufacturing environment (desirable)
• Strong IT Skills
