Practicus are partnering with a London based NHS organisation that are urgently seeking a Clinical Effectiveness Lead
PURPOSE - You will use your skills as a seasoned Quality Governance Manager to provide visible leadership to the governance team and deliver the clinical effectiveness tasks across the Trust.
THE DIFFERENCE you will work across a wide portfolio of services having input into the clinical effectiveness process to ensure they are safe and clinical quality improvements are delivered.
THE ROLE IS BOTH INTERESTING AND CHALLENGING because you will be working across multiple services with an opportunity to improve their safety and clinical effectiveness. The role will be varied, leading the governance team, chairing clinical effectiveness meetings, facilitating the CQUINS process, responding to system alerts and writing reports on the status of clinical effectiveness. Your role will contribute to the journey this Trust is on to improve the health outcomes of its local community.
TO DELIVER THIS we require an experienced Quality and Governance Interim, with leadership skills and strong knowledge of clinical effectiveness. You will have a collaborative leadership style with the ability to engage the teams to deliver better services.

EXPERIENCE:
Proven experience gained within the NHS in a Clinical Quality / Governance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of clinical effectiveness and ensuring robust processes are in place to drive improvements.
Ability to engage and influence with both clinical and operational staff in a collaborative way.
Knowledge of CQUINS or Quality Improvement would be desirable.
Knowledge of Patient experience
Ability to write reports and represent the Quality / Governance function to the executive team.

LENGTH: 6 months
BASE: Central London / 4 days on site 1 day remote
START: October 2023
