    Are you an experienced Health and Safety Manager? Do you have experience working in a lead role looking after the Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality operations within a manufacturing facility? We are recruiting for a SHEQ Manager to work for a business that manufactures solutions that are a key part of most industries - electronics, medical research, renewable energy, food production, infrastructure and many more. The successful candidate will not only lead on SHEQ operations, but will also create the strategy for these key areas and lead the team to not only remain compliant to necessary standards, but also to think outside the box in order to challenge the status quo of what it means to be a safe and sustainable company. Responsibilities: Planning and overseeing the work of the SHEQ Team Developing the SHEQ Team and SHEQ processes Drive the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality functions of the business to yield solid results Ensure safety, health, environmental quality related training and inspections are properly planned and administered Hiring and training new staff within department Drive facilities improvements that support Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality requirements Develop and maintain a quality management system Ensuring adherence to ISO standards and regulations Following the standards established in The Way We Do Things Continuous drive for operational efficiency across entire company Support the General Manager and Executive Management Team in making effective business decisions Qualifications and experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or related field; or equivalent Certified Safety Professional preferred 8-10+ years job-related experience as a safety, occupational health, environmental, and/or quality assurance professional Experience with OSHA Challenge / VPP process is a plus Knowledge and experience with ISO standards, and achieving and maintaining certification Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment required Prior involvement in leadership position preferred Must have knowledge or training in occupational health, as well as safety and environmental compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and standards Demonstrated knowledge of preparing, organizing, and delivering hands-on SHEQ training Ability to develop, implement, and coordinate comprehensive prevention programs Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills Ability to prepare and present upper management level presentations Demonstrated flexibility and agility to be successful in a dynamic environment Ability to work towards deadlines and achieve targets Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Tools Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
