Guest Services Assistant

Part Time

30 hours per week (4 days over 7 days - Monday - Sunday)

Pay Rate 10.90 - 11.04 per hour

Location - Kielder Waterside

About the role

My client is currently looking for a Guest Services Assistant to work alongside their busy team at their award-winning Leisure site at Landal Kielder Waterside. You'll be required to deliver outstanding customer service to their guests ensuring they achieve their vision of 'Best in Britain'.

The successful candidate will help with the administration and delivery of commercial activities and front of house information services. This will also include lifeguard cover for the pool.

You will be responsible for dealing with guests either face to face or on the phone, reconciling the weekly income as well as helping with the ordering of goods and services.

You may also be required to help out in other areas of the business when required.

The successful candidate will also help with sales targets and deal with onsite bookings. Supporting the front of house reception will also be part of this role, ensuring a high standard of service to their guests at all times which will include sharing information about Kielder Waterside Park facilities.

Please note - This role has been defined as a safety or security critical role and as a condition of a formal offer of employment you'll be required to undergo a drug and alcohol test.

Prospective employees and agency workers in defined safety and security critical roles will be required to undertake a drug and alcohol test after the job offer has been made. This will be prior to or within four weeks of their start date.

About you

You'll have the knowledge and experience of using various computer packages including Microsoft, have a high level of customer service skills and have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.

They'll give you the training and support you need to develop skills and awareness of working within the leisure industry. They are looking for you to have experience of working in a customer focused environment with the passion to provide amazing customer service. You will need to be flexible, have a can-do attitude and be able to work towards deadlines.
