RSR Public Safety are working with West Midlands Police to recruit for a Recruitment Officer. You will be managing candidates from application through to initial on boarding. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the recruitment process; from sifting applications, building strong relationships with hiring managers, coordinating information events, arranging, assessment centres for internal and external candidates. These are full time, temporary position until March 2024, based in central Birmingham and offers a rate of pay of £12.72ph. Main Duties: Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards Proactively manage candidates through the various recruitment processes Plan and manage interview and assessment schedules Attend and coordinate role specific candidate information events Develop and maintain strong and influential relationships with both candidates and stakeholders Screen and sift job applications and assess applicants relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes Maintain an overview of your allocated campaign(s) to your Senior Recruitment Lead and colleagues whilst promoting our values and reputation Deliver high level of quality of service at all times and against agreed service level agreements, governance, performance targets, audit controls, Force policy and statutory legislation. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in a Recruitment position, in a fast paced high volume environment Ability to prioritise high and conflicting demands effectively Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Experience of using Microsoft applications and applicant tracking systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong decision-making and problem solving skills Experience of developing strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders High accuracy levels in work with clear attention to detail Confident in working collaboratively in a team as well as independently Inquisitive, flexible and adaptable Able to learn new processes and systems quickly and effectively This role will be subject to vetting and the successful individual will be required to obtain and maintain these clearances.
