    Remedy Education are working with a SEN School based in West London.

    They are seeking a caring and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. The school provides quality and personalised education for young people between the ages of 4 to 18 with Autism and/or Severe Learning Difficulties.

    As an LSA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' learning and personal development. You will work closely with the dedicated team of staff to create a positive learning environment, which fosters independence, confidence, and social skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with individual students or small groups of students to support their learning and development.
    • Assist the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet individual student needs.
    • Help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
    • Provide support during extracurricular activities and school events.
    • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

    Requirements:

    • A caring and compassionate nature, with a passion for working with young people with ASD and/or Severe Learning Difficulties
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
    • A willingness to learn and develop your skills, with support from the school's staff.
    • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students.
