    About Salesforce

We're Salesforce, the Customer Company, inspiring the future of business with AI+ Data +CRM. Leading with our core values, we help companies across every industry blaze new trails and connect with customers in a whole new way. And, we empower you to be a Trailblazer, too - driving your performance and career growth, charting new paths, and improving the state of the world. If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good - you've come to the right place.

At Salesforce, the Global Enablement organization delivers learning programs to advance the capabilities that our sellers need to drive success for our customers and and our business. Whether through framing innovative programming to support strategic priorities or creating strategies to align learning imperatives, the Strategic Programs Team team equips the organization with the enablement programming it needs to be a mission-critical revenue generator for our business.

As a Senior Manager on the team, you will be responsible to scope strategies for key initiatives as well as craft the vision for the specific programs you are assigned - including mentoring team members to do the same. Much of the work is highly visible and multidimensional.

The Senior Manager is the program's lead strategist and single source of truth, serving as the steel thread weaving the efforts of multiple working groups into a single, cohesive learning experience for sellers. You will apply your broad understanding of strategy development by setting context, developing strategic options, and aligning and connecting workstreams across the organization to ensure that work is progressing aligned to the strategy.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem solving skills. This role requires sophisticated influence and navigation abilities to work with leaders, business owners, and subject matter experts to research, frame, and build compelling and clear strategic options, including facilitating discussions and decision making. The Senior Manager must be able to lead, support, and mentor from inception to completion critical and complex programs and initiatives, including defining goals, measurements, deliverables, key milestones, and critical path. Also key to success is the Senior Manager's ability to effectively see how multiple initiatives connect, demonstrating those alignments to add the most value to Salesforce.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • When presented with challenge statements, translate business needs/goals, executive priorities, and learner needs into a cohesive program strategy.

    • Build executive alignment around strategic options, facilitating discussion and decision making to arrive at program definition.

    • Align and manage partners to strategic program priorities, delivery plans, and calls to action in a highly matrixed environment. This includes building and managing executive relationships of the highest level.

    • Advance organizational alignment around strategies and programs, partnering with Communications, Operations, Global Field Enablement, and other essential functions to ensure cohesion across deliverables and results.

    • Identify gaps across programs and/or workstreams to ensure the strategic vision is aligned across Global Enablement.

    • Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on enablement strategies and programs.

    • Solve for evolving priorities and effectively manage complementing or overlapping work within the business by navigating complex, dynamic environments and non-linear workflows.

    • Support/coach team members in areas including strategy ideation, best practices, and executive presence.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Strong experience in strategic planning, business consulting, or similar field.

    • Proven experience in management consulting focused on strategic planning, strategy facilitation and/or execution of large-scope strategic projects.

    • Experience delivering impact at scale by developing / leading / facilitating enterprise-level strategic plans and teams comprised of executives and senior leadership.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach complex challenges with a strategic mindset.

    • Strong interpersonal, written, and presentation skills; adept at navigating complex discussions, presenting ideas, and articulating thoughts with diverse audiences, including executive leadership and team members.

    • Confidence managing executive-level conversations with ease

    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to successfully influence stakeholders and drive positive outcomes.

    • Ability to work well under tight timelines and simultaneously juggle multiple priorities, multiple programs, and rapid changes, often in ambiguous situations across our company's most complex, cross-functional initiatives.
