A great opportunity has arisen for a PR account handler to join a leading communications agency. The PR Senior Account Ex/Manager will work with high profile and well known B2C/B2B clients to create new opportunities, drive media coverage and work on digital campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in traditional and digital media to maximise PR opportunities and promote the range of PR services available to clients as well as being skilled in generating effective communication strategies and PR programmes. The role will also involve assisting the Account Director.

Additional responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact to clients, continually fostering the client-agency relationship
• Manage multiple projects from conception to completion
• Resolves client issues
• Develops new business leads and assists in the negotiation process with prospective and existing clients
• Supporting the directors on new business pitches
• Digital content management
• Press and social media support
• Research

Skills and experience

• Must have previous agency or in house experience within a PR / comms / corporate and Consumer in a similar role
• Must have business and PR acumen
• Must be experienced in managing and working on a diverse range of accounts
• Must be a strategic, analytical thinker
• Strong understanding of both traditional and digital public relations
• Digitally savvy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Commercially aware and decisive
• Ability to juggle multiple and changing priorities
