Lab Technician (Maternity Cover) Our client, a prestigious and established employer based in Headington, has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Lab Technician. In this varied role, you will support their team in delivering engaging and exciting lessons. The role is to last at least 6 months, with potential for extension. The successful candidate will be entitled to a salary of £22.6k and with a range of generous benefits. The Role Assisting with the Science department with tasks relating to preparation of practical lessons Preparing and setting out equipment and materials Monitoring and maintaining stocks of chemicals Organising minor repairs and maintenance of equipment Ordering replacement equipment Constructing and modifying apparatus Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered too The Ideal Candidate Minimum NVQ Lv3 or qualification in science subjects (IE University graduate) IT Proficiency Self-motivated and proactive Excellent verbal and written communication Knowledge of health and safety requirements Patience and understanding The Benefits The successful candidate will join a friendly and welcoming team in a prestigious and established employer.
