About the Role We currently have an opportunity to join our Pump Sales and Manufacturing team as a Production Engineer, based on site at our Chandler s Ford branch. This role is a fundamental link between the Production and Design department, as Production Engineer you ll ensure best practice and efficiency within the full manufacturing process. You ll possess the ability to lead a team, as well as work shoulder to shoulder with them, as required, to achieve production targets and improve standards. You ll be providing engineering support to our Pump Manufacturing team, which will include offering guidance on process improvements, introducing new products and supporting the team in resolving any safety or technical issues. What we are looking for: Previous demonstrable experience of working within the engineering field. Previous demonstrable experience of using CAD software. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Demonstrate critical thinking skills, with an analytical approach to problem solving. Able to lead a team within a workshop environment, with a proactive attitude and commitment to continuously improve our ways of working and standards. Demonstrate a willingness to share your technical experience with others and encourage a learning culture. Demonstrate a strong understanding of lean manufacturing. Demonstrate experience in the practical application of Six Sigma. Bachelor s degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering (or other related technical discipline). A Master s degree would be advantageous, but not essential. Please note, a full UK driving licence is required for this role as attendance to client sites may be required.
