Contract Project Manager

A Project Manager is required by a top London agency to work within their busy studio team for a period of 6-8 weeks whilst a newly hired perm person works her notice at her previous place of work. The Project Manager will lead projects withing their design and production department providing a wide range of creative solutions and then handover to the perm person who is joining at the beginning of May. You will have 5+ years experience as a project Manager and a proven track record of delivering creative projects within an agency environment. As Creative Project Manager you will coordinate and support the creative production of assets and work closely with their in-house design team. As Project Manager you will incorporate brilliant communication skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver the successful delivery of creative projects from conception through to completion. You will thrive in busy environments and enjoy being involved at all levels of the project. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated budget and timeframe to meet customer expectations. As Project Manager you will have a great eye for be guiding the delivery process, helping internal teams and clients to stay on track. As project manager you will also need to ensure your projects have the correct creative and design resources and will own the timeline ensuring all meetings are scheduled with the correct internal stakeholders.

The main role and responsibilities for this Project Management role will be to:

• Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure deliverables across active projects stay on track.
• Have a clear understanding of deadlines within your allocated projects and become the go to person for the internal teams
• Management of projects board and all assets- so creative folders, documentation etc ensuring it's up to date, organized and easy to access.
• You will track the project financials to ensure projects stay on budget.
• You will continually monitor and report on project status to ensure the project strategy and goals are met
• You will prepare and run daily team meetings to ensure the designers team is up to date on current tasks, deadlines and client feedback.
• You will be highly organised and detail oriented, capable of managing small to large scale production timelines and budgets.
• You will have strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects, contending priorities
• You will have a brilliant ability to create project timelines, and project schedules to identify key project delivery dates and creative team deliverables.
