Our Client is a successful Supplier of Fresh Produce, belonging to one of the largest Fresh Produce Groups in the world. We currently offer an excellent opportunity on their behalf to join the business as Product Manager. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the position of Product Manager will be based at a facility in Kent and will work as an integral part of a product specialist team managing quality under a specific category.; soft fruit / Berries. A hands-on, pivotal role working to ensure; Effective product allocations Customer satisfaction on product decisions Stock management; managing rejections/collections, stock arrivals assessment, stock trackers Communication across all departments; liaising with the packhouse operations, commercial and buying teams Product quality assessment & reporting, ensuring a consistent & efficient approach to reducing complaints, rejections, wastage Managing a junior PM, working proactively to build effective relationships with 3rd party packing sites and support customer management We require; An experienced QC/Product focused individual with quality / technical / ripening experience gained from the Fresh Produce sector Fresh Produce exposure Knowledge of the technical standards & product quality expected by retail customers Drive, passion and dedication is key for success in this position Strong communication skills, with flexibility to travel to sites across the UK Salary; up to £30k dependent on experience offered Benefits; Gym membership, Pension, 23 days Holiday + BH Excellent opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce business, at an integral time
