The Electoral Commission have an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Support Manager to join their team.

Location: London or Homebased

Salary: £51,363 per annum (London) / £48,468 per annum (Homebased)

Job Type: Full-Time, Fixed Term (until 25th August 2024)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Support Manager on a fixed term basis until late August 2024.

Regulatory Support Manager The Role:

You ll lead work to identify and deliver proactive engagement and support opportunities for regulated stakeholders which will have the greatest impact on compliance with the rules. These proactive opportunities could include: workshops, forums, targeted events, roundtables, etc.

You ll support the Head of Regulatory Support to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of political parties, campaigners, and other Regulation stakeholders in order to deliver effective, risk-led, constituent, proportionate and robust proactive support tools with the aim of securing compliance with the rules on political finance.

Regulatory Support Manager You:

- You ll have excellent collaboration skills and be able to build productive relationships easily with people at all levels and engage effectively with other functions across the organisation

- In addition, you will be confident in proposing and initiating new ideas, activities or projects, as well as respond positively and effectively to changing circumstances

- Consultation is crucial to the successful development of the Regulatory Support Team, and you ll need to be committed to working constructively with all staff, including senior managers; as well as in partnership with a diverse range of external political stakeholders

- You will have a strong appreciation of the political environment in which the Commission works
