Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh/Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Service Management Consultant for an initial 6 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £280/day (Outside IR35). This role will be a hybrid of working at home and in the office.
Responsibilities: - Auditing of existing ITIL/Service Management processes with the organisation and define areas for improvement
- Translating operational areas for improvement into development demand
- Lead HR colleagues through readiness steps to embed ServiceNow HR Service Delivery module within the organisation
- Document and implement ITSM Quality Assurance within the organisation
- Provide training and coaching for ITSM processes across Digital and associated teams
- Evangelise the strategic direction of ITIL/Service Management practices across the organisation
- Coordinating Major Incidents
- Contributing to ServiceNow product roadmap
- Support and deliver the disaster recover assurance of digital services, striving towards a sustainable Recovery Time Objective of 2hrs and Recovery Point objective of zero. This will be assured at 6 weekend points over the course of a FY year
Essential Skills: - Operational experience leading Service Management
- Previous process management and process ownership experience
- Experience in SLA & reporting set-up
- Experience as a ServiceNow developer
- Ability to facilitate Agile requirements gathering
- Strong teamwork, self-managing and self-initiative, coaching, collaboration & communication skills
Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of the newly offered products in Vancouver ServiceNow release
- Experience of Jira/ServiceNow interface development
