We have a fantastic career opportunity for a career minded Assistant Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join a thriving Construction Consultancy who are a dynamic company with an excellent culture.

They offer projects within both the Private and Public Sectors ranging from student accommodation, private residential, social housing and affordable homes.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor role consists of assisting with managing the construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves working collaboratively with a varied team of construction professional and stakeholders to allow projects to be delivered safely on time, and to budget whilst ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

The Role:

• Assisting with estimating and cost planning
• Procurement advice
• Tender document preparation and reporting
• Contract administrator and cost control
• Interim valuations
• Cost reporting
• Assisting with Contract advice
• Final account preparation

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar technical discipline
• A minimum of 1- 2 years+ post Graduate experience
• Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation and post contract services
• Previously employed by a consultancy or end user client
• Stakeholder management with a clear focus on developing client accounts and forging new business relationships
• A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines
• A team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
