Home based role. WasteRecruit are a specialist recruitment agency working within the waste, resource management, recycling, and renewable energy sectors. We work with clients in the private and public sector throughout the UK and also internationally on predominantly technical and commercial assignments. Our team are all home-based and our structure is relatively unique in that we have recruitment consultants and business psychologists. Many of our client relationships are collaborative, with our business psychologists working with clients to understand their needs, assessing candidates on their behalf, and delivering interviews with them. We are growing at pace and have a requirement for a consultant to join our team, with a specific focus on the local authority sector. This is a sector we are looking to grow significantly, particularly because our best practice approach to recruitment, utilising business psychology solutions, is well aligned with the structured approach adopted by local authorities. We offer a competitive basic salary along with a rewarding commission structure. What do we need from you? First and foremost, you need to be comfortable working from home. It doesn t work for all people. We use WhatsApp every day and Teams multiple times a week, so you won t be isolated, but it is different to working in an office environment. We will provide you with all the IT required to set up a home office. In terms of the role, you need to have demonstrable experience of both new client development and successful search and selection recruitment, ideally within the waste and recycling sector or similar. There will be an expectation on you for new business development. Don t worry, it s not about hundreds of cold calls, it s a lot more strategic than that. Our culture is one of trust and ownership. Consistency in delivery is important, you need to be structured and organised with a keen eye for detail.
